Seeking ARC Committee Volunteers

The Highlands Community Association (HCA) is seeking new resident volunteers who wish to work with others on the Architectural Committee (ARC) to help preserve the standards that make The Highlands a great place to live and a great living investment.

The ARC members are our neighbors who review resident project applications for compliance with the Highlands ARC Regulations. ARC’s goal is for residential projects to be in compliance when completed. ARC does not issue violations. The volunteer position is a two-year appointment. Time commitment is generally around 5-7 hours a month depending on the volume of projects. Two meetings a month (typically the first Wednesday and third Thursday of the month) plus site visits and final reviews of projects. Meeting dates are published for the whole year making scheduling easy. Site visits and final reviews have scheduling flexibility. It’s a great way to meet your neighbors and see some beautiful projects. No experience is needed, just the desire to give back to your community.
