The Highlands Playground located on Eastfair Drive is open to all Highlands property owners and their guests. Residents are responsible for their own safety, as well as the safety of their guests and dependents using the playground. The Highlands Association is not responsible for accidents or damage to personal property. The Highlands Playground Committee has the responsibility for accepting reservations, taking deposits, inspecting the pavilion after use, and key control of the locked storage.

The pavilion has twelve tables with a maximum seating capacity of 116 people. There are four stationary charcoal grills and one large gas grill available. There is no electricity at the pavilion. Because of the noise, generators are not allowed. There is no bathroom facility at the pavilion. For all-day events, renting a port-a-potty may be considered.
At the end of the event, all trash must be placed in the appropriate containers, grills (if used) must be cleaned and the playground left in an orderly manner. Residents are asked to bring their own trash bags to dispose of their event’s refuse. Put your bags in the dumpster near the Sales Center. The pavilion and playground are open from dawn to dusk. Reserving the pavilion does not include reserving the playground. The playground is open for use by those attending the planned event, as well as all Highland residents.
Please complete the required information on the request form and select the “send” button as the primary means of requesting a reservation or information. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. Once your reservation has been confirmed, your check ($40) must be received within 48 hours in order to hold your reservation. Checks are to be made out to the Highlands Community Association. If the gas grill is being used, submit an additional check for $10. Checks should be placed in an envelope and put in Arnika Hoover’s paper slot. Keys for the storage area housing the gas grill may be picked up from Arnika, Mon –Thurs the week prior to the event. Email Arnika to confirm a pick up time.
